Kipper's Fishing Program
Kippers welcomes anglers of any skill level to get their feet wet and their line tight. Nestled in the beautiful flats of Essex, MA the striper opportunities here are plentiful. Whether you're seeking your first striper on the fly or a cow, we're here to support the journey.
Our goal is to keep this fishery tight knit, productive, and build friendships that last a lifetime. The hideaway can accommodate two trips per day and is perfect for groups (though we can still accommodate the single adventurous angler).
Guided Fishing Package Includes:
- 5hr guided trip. Departure and return times vary based on tidal schedules. We will connect you with your guide days before your schedule trip to iron out details.
- All equipment including fly rods & flies (but of course you may use your own!)
- Please note our fishing rates do not include guide gratuities. Venmo or cash!
Guide Highlight
We've partnered with seasoned local fishing guides who have scoured every inch of this fishery in pursuit of striped bass
Capt. Eliot Jenkins
The man, the myth, the legend. Capt. Eliot Jenkins runs a 23' Parker with over 15 years of experience guiding these local waters. He is highly tuned into the fishery from sight fishing the flats to chasing surface feeds. Expect to get your line tight with quality bass.
Capt. Dave Rimmer
Another seasoned, highly respected guide in Essex bay. Capt. Dave Rimmer has been putting folks on bass since 2002. He runs a 22' Pathfinder bayboat and has extensive knowledge of the fishery consisting of monster bass cruising off shore and feeds close to the hideaway.
Capt. Colin Cournoyer
Capt. Colin Cournoyer grew up on the coast of Massachusetts beginning his fishing journey down in Martha’s Vineyard. He later settled down in the North Shore where he began fly fishing in and around Plum Island for the past 10 years. He runs a technical poling skiff and specializes in sight fishing reaching unpressured areas very few anglers are able to explore.
